2011 Green Coast Award Winners Announced at 4th Annual Green Faire at Stamford Green Drinks

The Fourth Annual Green Coast Award winners were announced at Grand Restaurant & Lounge and  kicked off the 4th Annual Green Faire at Stamford Green Drinks, November. 16th. Among last year’s winners that were announced were Greenest City, Greenest Mayor; Leader in Green Job Training, Leader in Renewable Energy, Eco-friendly Restaurant and more.

The Green Faire, presented by Conscious Decisions, includes eco-information, healthy living products, group discussions and networking with sustainability experts. 

  • New to The Green Faire in 2010, was the 

  • The Town Green, sponsored by The Community Innovation Grants Program of The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, which educated the public on clean energy and grassroots projects, and featured a car that runs on vegetable oil as well as information about a number of sustainable projects going on throughout Fairfield County.

  • Voting for the 2011 Green Coast Awards is open 

  • until November 10th, 2011.

    The Green Coast Awards honor and recognize individuals, businesses, services, and organizations throughout Connecticut that are socially and environmentally responsible, promote sustainability, have high ethical standards and make conscious decisions everyday to improve our communities and the health of the planet.
